Luckily, we have a pre-employment programme (PeP) to help guide you through the process. Our PeP is designed to help people who are not in work to develop skills and experience to move closer to seeking employment. The training will cover what being an EMA entails, communication tips, placement exposure, and help with application and interview preparation. On completion of the programme, you are offered a guaranteed interview for the positions available.
We’re hosting a number of open days in October which will walk you through the emergency call handler role, and describe the PeP program in detail enabling you to ask any questions and decide if this is for you.
We are looking for EMAs to join us across our sites in Liverpool, Greater Manchester and Preston, where we passionate individuals to work in a dynamic team need handling the thousands of 999 calls that come our way every day.
If you think this could be the career for you, we encourage you to join us to gain insight on how to submit the best application possible.
