Our communications and strategy teams worked together with staff across our services to bring our strategy to life and demonstrate our purpose on film.
What is our strategy?
Our strategy 2022-2025 outlines where we are now, where we want to be and the areas we want to focus on to achieve our vision to deliver the right care, at the right time, in the right place; every time.
We have four ‘supporting strategies’ which align to our overall trust strategy. These provide more detail on how we will meet our aims and objectives, including areas of focus and key measures of success.
Quality Strategy – this aligns to our aim “provide high quality, inclusive care” and sets out the ambitions, standards and framework which will help us to deliver safe, high quality, person-centred care for our patients, every time.
People Strategy – this aligns predominantly with our aim to “be a brilliant place to work” and seeks to develop the culture and leadership environment to facilitate the delivery of the overall organisational goals.
Service Development Strategy – this aligns with our organisational aim to “work together to shape a better future” and provides a framework for developing our operational service lines to make sure we deliver operational performance across all service lines in a sustainable way. This replaces, and builds upon, our previous Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC) Strategy, developed in 2019.
Sustainability Strategy – which outlines areas of focus, over and above the delivery of our services, to make sure we can meet the demands of our patients now, and for the future. The strategy looks at environmental sustainability, social value, population health and financial sustainability.
