October is Freedom to Speak Up (FTSU) Month, a four week period used to raise awareness of FTSU and make speaking up business as usual, and we couldn’t think of a better time to share the news that our very own Lead Freedom to Speak Up Guardian Graham Pacey, has taken on the role of co-chair of the National Ambulance Network of Freedom to Speak Up Guardians.
Graham said, “I have taken up the role co-chairing the National Ambulance Network of FTSU Guardians. This means working with other trusts to support speaking up across ambulance trusts, collaborating with AACE and the National Guardians Office. Hopefully we can work to truly embed a culture where people can speak up, not just in the north west but the whole ambulance sector, without fear of repercussions and know that things will get actioned.”
