Congratulations to Resilience Manager Caroline Suart who was recently recognised at the Chief Constables Awards.
Caroline was awarded a commendation by the Chief Constable of Lancashire Police Chris Rowley for her dedication to the Lancashire Resilience Forum. She was part of the team that planned and delivered Exercise Goshawk in November 2022.
Exercise Goshawk was a three-day live training event testing the multi-agency response to a Marauding Terrorist Attack (MTA). It was the largest training event ever delivered in Lancashire and is one of the largest ever delivered at NWAS. Caroline helped coordinate the 25 agencies that took part in it alongside NWAS. These included services such as police, fire, local authorities, NHS England, Integrated Care Boards, Counter-Terrorism Police, and voluntary agencies, all of whom contributed to the success of the event.
Assistant Director of Resilience Steve Hynes said, “This is a great recognition for Caroline in being a key leader in the planning and facilitating of a large, live, multi-agency training event. Well done Caroline.”
