The Learner category at our annual Star Awards showcases some of our hardworking colleagues who are balancing their usual work responsibilities whilst also undertaking some form of formal learning. This can include apprenticeships, university degrees and more.

Congratulations to Sarah Chapman from our Informatics Team who was presented with the Learner Award for her commitment to patient data and reporting. She has successfully combined her analyst role with her Masters in Digital and Technology Solutions Specialist as part of the apprenticeship scheme.

Ed Fulker, Evaluation Manager, nominated Sarah and said: “Sarah demonstrates strong time-management skills to achieve her responsibilities and always displays commitment to her work. During a challenging 12 months for the trust, Sarah’s determination in difficult circumstances has meant she has not only overcome professional challenges, she’s excelled in them – at the same time as completing apprenticeship modules to a high standard.”
