Renal dialysis and cancer patients

Renal dialysis or cancer patients may have more complex needs so we offer a specialised service.

We recognise the diverse needs of all those who use the patient transport service so we offer a specialised service for renal dialysis and cancer patients.

We provide patient transport for renal dialysis patient appointments up until 7.30pm with collection until 1am Monday to Saturday, including bank holidays. We also offer improved quality standards for both haemodialysis and cancer patients.

If you’re receiving renal dialysis or cancer treatment you will need to meet the eligibility criteria which will be determined by the staff at the unit or clinic you attend. You will be assessed before starting the treatment and then every six months to see if you still qualify. Cancer patients will be assessed every three months.

Once assessed eligibility will be reviewed every three to six months, please check with your clinic to ensure your appointments have been booked.
